It's pretty much like I said, the OG box sees regular use only for Blood Wake, Kung Fu Chaos and Crazy Taxi 3, other than that it's mostly just taking up space. basically 4 player local play gems in general or the occasional pickup and play gem like Simpsons Hit & Run) just so happens to mostly be excellent on BC and since that means we don't have to deal with wires or the upscaler, it's the preferable route. The stuff we use it for the most (Sega Soccer Slam, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, Darkwatch, Hot Wheels Stunt Track, NBA Street V3, Quantum Redshift, Crimson Skies, Fuzion Frenzy, Loons, Metal Arms, Micro Machines. It can ruin games (Blinx the Timesweeper, for example) or sometimes play them perfectly (Ninja Gaiden Black) so it's usually a coin toss. ^^ I don't really ever part with my old systems.īC quality on the 360 varies wildly from game to game, yeah.

That said, I am heavily considering getting a RGH installed on my 360 (I know where to get it done for under 15€) specifically for the increased backwards compatibility potential it could bring to the 360 so as to possibily keep certain old faves of ours still available for play despite having to say goodbye to the OGXbox. The fact that the 360 is backwards compatible with so many of it's most popular releases and it being so much more practical (since we don't need to deal with the upscaler or wired controllers) means most of the original Xbox stuff we do play ends up getting played on a 360 rather than the OG so it seems like the perfect choice to go into storage!
